CALL FOR ARTISTS, CYCLISTS and VOLUNTEERS

You are needed to help inspire more people to give donations to victims of Typhoon Sendong this Yuletide Season through the Ride and Rock Relief on 29 December, Yadu & B-Side at The Collective. Facebook event details here.

Dakila, Yadu and Wow Pinay with B-side, The Firefly Brigade, MTB.PH, Folding Bike Pilipinas and Tat-Tulungan will come together for the Ride and Rock Relief (for the Victims of Typhoon Sendong)

Everyone is welcome to participate and do their share.

RIDE
to gather.
Cyclists will assemble at Yadu Store at 5pm to gather donations.
Ride out at 6:30pm around Makati Area.
To be led by WOW Pinay.
(Route to be announced)

RELIEF
goods needed to participate in any of the events.
Everyone is encouraged to drop off donations at the entrance.

RAISE
funds through TAT-Tulungan.
Tattoo art sessions starts at 3pm.

ROCK
to reach out. Gig starts at 8pm onwards.

Reminder: You have to bring in donations to participate in all events: in joining the ride, tattoo sessions or watching the gig.

YADU BAGS WILL BE RAFFLED OFF BETWEEN SETS)
Yadu bags will offer 40% off on ALL BAGS from which 10% of all sales that night will go to the victims of Sendong.

FBP Group (Folding Bike Pilipinas) has also volunteered to lend a truck to bring all the donations collected that night such as food/clothes/etc. to Dakila Head Quarters in QC.

For interested tattoo artists, contact Drei at 0915-3285666 or Karen at 0927-9129559 on or before DEC. 26, 3PM in order to secure a spot at the event. For participating tattoo artists, simply donate Php500 or non-perishable goods to be able to tattoo at the event.

The word “kuklos” in Greek has two meanings — it’s the word for “bicycle” but can also refer to a “circle or collective of like-minded people.” The Kuklos sa Kolektiv bicycle show and festival will bring together the diverse groups in the cycling community — from BMX riders, to mountain bikers, to fixies, to folding bikers, to vintage bike enthusiasts, and more– to celebrate the different ways of having fun on two wheels. It was last seen at Metropolitan Ave., July 5 20:30. I was parked at Tapas’ side across Office Warehouse near Grantrail Cycles . I do bible and feeding program there for the homeless kids . We were distributing the shoes and the clothes.

I actually saw two feet and under the car, i just thought it was the kids dressing up or something. The guard across thought he (thief) owns the car (my Car) I was sitting down consoling a friend, then i just saw my bike spin away, I shouted “hey my bike!” It was so fast, i was shocked .

I’m trying to cheer up , but what hurts me the most i think and i can bet the kids knew this guy who stole my bike and there protecting him after all i have spent with them looking for sponsors for food and saving the kids life. This is why medyo masakit sa akin.

Bicycle and celebrate Energy Month 2009! Join the 4th edition of “Bike for a Cause” presented by the Department of Energy and the Malampaya Joint Venture Partnership. It is increasingly relevant to bicycle now as Nature’s challenges stare us in the face. Your participation will also help support students in Taguig City public schools!
