A kayak-bike-run fund-raising that will support the implementation of Taal Volcano Protected Landscape Management Plan 2010-2020, specifically Chapter 2: Water Quality. The Management Plan has undergone 42 community consultations and approved by the Protected Area Management Board.
The adventure race aims to raise funds to keep the water quality of Taal Lake within the Class B criteria for inland waters – recreation such as bathing swimming skin diving, non-motorized water sports – with no heavy influx of pollutants.
Organized by Pusod Inc, an NGO committed to implement the Taal Volcano Protected Landscape Management Plan in partnership with the Local Governments of Mataasnakahoy, Balete and Lipa City, also the Philippine Kayaking Association and Team Ganit.

ALA-EH MTB RACE – 2nd Congressman Dong Mendoza Cycling Cup
When: October 25, 2009 – Sunday, 6:00 am – 5:00 pm
Where: Palm Crest Ridge Estate, Bulacnin, Lipa City
Type: Lap Race (2 km of smooth and rolling terrain)
Categories: Women, Kids (15 below), Executive (30 above), Age Group Categories 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40 above (amateur only)
Entry Fee: 500 PhP (inclusive of race kit, souvenir shirt, certificate and lunch)
Restrictions : Minimum tire width should be 1.90 x 26in.
Maximum crank should be 44T only.
(Niners are welcome provided they comply with the crank and tire width)
Winners will receive cash prizes and trophies/ medals. Plus raffle draws of premium bike items for everyone !!!
