CCP OPENS GREEN LANE FOR BIKERS, JOGGERS AND WALKERS

Cyclists, joggers, runners and pedestrians can use a dedicated pathway inside the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) complex starting September 12, 2010. The 3.5 km Green Lane that stretches from Roxas Boulevard to Macapagal Boulevard will be launched on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 6:00am at the CCP Liwasang Ullalim with a 7K Fun Bike-Run led by celebrity cyclists, free bike clinics and tune-ups, a bike exhibit and the installation of bicycle racks in selected areas of the CCP. Selected routes within the CCP complex will also be closed to vehicular traffic on the following Saturdays and Sundays from 4am to 8am and 4pm to 7pm.
